Not Guilty, Really Roger...Really?

Not Guilty, is it really worth the fight Rocket? While being a part of Major League Baseball's steroid era you, Roger Clemens, honestly expect the fans of MLB to believe you never took part in any kind of Performance Enhancing Drugs? Does not the overwhelming evidence against you suggest otherwise? With Pettitte and McNamee's testimony and the Mitchell Report, while it's technically "hearsay evidence", you still have to ask yourself one question; "How naive do you think we are?"

Who are you to put MLB, the fans, and the world through a trial that's going to turn the baseball world upside down? A trial in which congress will be forced to call upon your former BFF Andy Pettitte to testify against you. People just want to move past this steroid era, but you want to keep fighting the fight. And for what? To prove to the universe your alleged innocence? I have to be honest Roger, your denial of steroid use is about as believable as Pete Rose's gambling debacle. Lets just hope it doesn't take you as long as it took Rose to admit to the truth.

All people have ever wanted during this steroid era was the truth. Nothing but the truth. We are all human, we all make mistakes, but it is how you handle it and how you learn from your mistakes that make you a better person. A person in which people are willing to forgive and forget their indiscretions, but not their legacy.

Really Roger... REALLY,  it is not all about you.
